Fast forging presses

High-performance forging on Hatebur systems – precision forged parts in series production

The highly automated high-speed forging presses form the heart of our forging operations. In a precisely controlled temperature range of 1100 °C to 1250 °C, we produce steel parts that can withstand the highest mechanical stresses.

By heating the primary material inductively, we guarantee precise temperature control and therefore a homogeneous microstructure quality throughout the entire series.

State-of-the-art machinery for complex geometries

We rely on the globally recognized Hatebur technology to press components highly efficiently in four forming stages. Our expertise in impact extrusion parts, which we realize with a special ejector stroke (up to 180 mm on the AMP 70), is particularly noteworthy.

System type Number Max. Part weight Max. Diameter Pressing force

Hatebur AMP 70 (L) 3 up to 5.0 kg approx. 150 mm 12,000 – 15,000 kN

Controlled cooling for optimum material properties

A decisive advantage of our continuous process is the possibility of controlled cooling directly from the forging heat. This enables us to set specific strength values during the process and make subsequent heat treatment steps more efficient.
